The British/Portuguese GT40 - #P/1022

supplied by Edições Vintage

€25,00 EUR

The book tells the story of the Ford GT40 P/1022, since it was ordered by the Scottish Nick Cuthbert, to be driven by Eric Liddell, until it came to Portugal by the hand of Carlos Gaspar, in 1968. In 1971, the P/1022 returned to England, for a different motorsport career, before becoming a car with historical interest, with owners from both sides of the Atlantic making sure that it would reach our days as one of the most original and well documented examples of the model that Ford built to defeat Ferrari in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Written by Adelino Dinis and illustrated with dozens of images, most of them unpublished.
